Using neighborhood-based community organizers and resident councils, and partnering with 34 nonprofit, governmental, and educational organizations that share our mission, PHCC helps residents develop the tools for change in order to:
- build a sense of community within and among our targeted neighborhoods;
- stabilize our low-wealth neighborhoods in the areas of accessible health services, children and family services, housing, and employment;
- improve residents’ life skills by coordinating a collaborative of organizations which offers an array of services and programs;
- enhance levels of communication between residents and police and their neighborhood managers, and
- help residents resolve personal and community issues.
